Geneva to host 'Laver Cup 2019' this September

The Palexpo Exhibition Centre will be hosting the third edition of the Laver Cup this September in a three-day tournament that will once again be captained by Björn Borg for Team Europe and John McEnroe for Team World.
The tournament will see six of Europe’s best men’s tennis players pitted against six of their counterparts from the rest of the world. The jam-packed weekend will be a mixture of singles and doubles over 12 matches. Already confirmed to play are Rafael Nadal and Switzerland’s own Roger Federer.

Where and when does the Laver Cup take place?
Laver cup takes place at the Palexpo. It is an event space for exhibitions, conventions, shows and various sporting events. It is located next to Geneva International Airport and the city’s rail station making it the ideal location for those coming into the city for an event.
If you’re looking to have a go for a bite to eat while you’re there, Palexpo offers excellent choices of restaurants and café bars.

How can I get tickets to the Laver Cup?
Ticket prices start at CHF 258.15 and are based upon the number of sessions (matches) that you want to see. Prices also vary depending on how close you want to get to the action.

How can I get to Palexpo from Fraser Suites Geneva?
The most inexpensive way to get to the venue is to hop on the route 5 bus; only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. The journey takes around 20 minutes to get to Palexpo. The stop is roughly a 4 minute away from the centre and well signposted.
The bus is a great way to take in your surrounding areas and take a mental note of anywhere you may want to revisit when you have some downtime.
If you prefer to jump in an Uber, you will get there in under 10 minutes for roughly CH 28.00. Don’t forget you can always save money by booking UberPool and splitting the cost with others.
